Christian Apologetics (The Reasonable Defense of Christianity) supplies Christians the necessary foundation and framework to accept, develop, maintain and secure the message of the gospel. At the center of the gospel is the historical person of Christ and the historical event of the work he did on the cross.

Our meaning, value and purpose in this life begins when we accept the work that Christ did on the cross. Without the transforming power of the risen Christ, we are all just killing time waiting to die. In other words, there was no ultimate purpose to our life. Without God we are all just accidental by-products of nature. A result of time plus matter plus chance.

Some may have significant accomplishments in this world such as developing a cure for cancer, rescuing a person from a burning building or winning the world series. But these events only indicate a relative purpose. After time these events exist only in our memory.

Without God life is absurd and the meaning we try and find only leads to despair.
